Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School Reviews

This School Is a excellent school for my daughter

3 grads from Mother McAuely in this family. One went on to graduate from Northwestern University, and two are at the unviersity of Chicago now. Inspirational teachers and involved staff plus greatleadership.

I believe McAuley had a profound effect on the person I am today. While offering a terrific education, McAuley also had something for every girl: music, theater, sports, social clubs, student council, etc. I truly believe McAuley allowed me to find the 'real' me, with out even realizing it. I will agree, however, that technology, math and science need a greater focus, especially today. We need to ensure our girls are prepared to accept positions to help better the community.

Overall, the school has lots of extracurricular activites. Academically, I think their Math department needs to improve I find it rather weak. Their Foreign Language Department showed some improvement this year. I also believe that many of their teachers should retire and allow new blood in the school.

My daughter attended Mother Mcauley High School. While she did really well in most subjects, we both agree that their math department needs improvement. The teachers were difficult to work with when it came to setting up extra help. My daughter didn't really get involved in many extracurricular activities, although many were offered. I was involved where I could be, but there wasn't much opportunity to help out.

I attended McAuley in the early 90's and it was the best experience I have had, educationally as well as socially. The empowerment of the environment there is second to none. Now as my niece attends, as well as several of my former students, I see that the quality of education has surpassed even the wonderful experience I had!

I am a graduate of McAuley. I believe this school has prepared me for the future in everyway possible. I believe that a McAuley education is the best education a parent can give their daughter.

My daughter got an excellent education at Mother McAuley High School. There are plenty of extracurricular activities offered, and my daughter took advantage of many of them. The teachers and the administration are very caring, and all strive to give the students the best education they can. It is well worth the time it takes to check this school out, if you are considering a private school for your daughter.

As an alumni of Mother McAuley I highly recommend this school for young girls. I was challenged, encouraged and nurtured in many ways. I must say that McAuley's strength at that time (14 years ago) was not ensuring all races in the school were appreciated and girls made to feel comfortable. However, the knowledge, skills, talents and confidence I gained are immeasurable. After her 4 years, it will be up to your young woman to decide what she will leave with, from her experience at McAuley.

An exceptional high school. My daughter is a senior, and loves the place. She has been challenged academically, and has been taught to develope leadership skills. She wants to go to an exceptional college, and has been given the background to be competative for Stanford, Harvard, Princeton, Yale...wherever she dreams. The student numbers mean that whatever the interests, there will be plenty of others with similar interests. It's like there are 'sub-schools' in the big school. Example...There are enough students in theater (or any sport or the Math Team or art or any activity) that everyone can 'fit in'. Well worth the investment. I fully support the all female experience as well. The girls have no reason not to excel.

Mother McAuley is a good school that provides females with a very good education. I am an alumni of McAuley and although the education was good, I feel that the treatment of minority students was just okay. I liked going to McAuley because the activities encouraged students to get involved. Overall, McAuley is a good place to send a young lady.

Both of my daughters went to Mother McAuley and my husband and I couldn't be happier with the quality education they recieved. Mother mcAuley is an atmosphere that encourages young women to reach their potential and to never think that they 'can't' do something. There are also tons of ways to get involved and meet new people at McAuley: sports, clubs, theater, band, and so much more. McAuley was well worth it.

It is a wonderful school to send your daughter to. There she will get the best education in town.
